Hyderabad: The Telangana Education Department has suspended three officials in connection with the leak of the 10th-class question paper in Vikarabad, Telangana.
A teacher of a government school in Vikarabad, Telangana is facing allegations in the question paper leak incident. The complaint is that within minutes of the examination, the question paper in the Telugu language was leaked through WhatsApp.
The Class 10 question paper leak comes weeks after the question papers of the Group-1 preliminary examination and other examinations conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) were leaked.
The question paper leak sparked protests outside the office of the Board of Secondary Education, which conducts the SSC Class 10 exams, on Monday. Youth Congress and NSUI activists burnt the effigy of Minister KTR demanding the resignation of the Education Minister.
Following the leak, the state education department suspended three officials, including a chief superintendent, a department officer, and an invigilator, who took mobile phones to the exam center and took photographs of the question papers, and circulated them in Vikarabad.
