New Delhi: Good news for train passengers who are facing travel difficulties after the Covid lockdown.
Indian Railways is launching more passenger and mail train services as part of its efforts to provide more convenience to passengers.
Railways will start 71 unreserved train services from April 5. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said the decision was taken to make the journey safer and more convenient for passengers.
The service will initially start in the Northern Zone of Indian Railways. In February, the Railway Minister announced that the UTS On mobile app would be reactivated once non-reserved train services resume.
