New Delhi: At least 29 people were killed when a bus crashed into a river on the Yamuna Expressway near Agra. The bus was traveling from Lucknow to Delhi. About 15 people were rescued in the crash. The crash happened around 6 am. Reports indicate that there were about forty passengers on the bus.
The bus was at high speed. The bus toppled into the river and sank into the river about 20 feet deep. The government announced a grant of Rs 5 lakh for the families of the dead. The UP government has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
