Dasanga: 22 killed in a bus overturn in Madhya Pradesh. Many people were injured in the accident. A bus carrying 50 people to Indore fell from a bridge at Dasanga village in Khargaon.
It is reported that many of the injured are in serious condition. Meanwhile, the cause of the accident is not clear. The police informed that an investigation is going on to find it. The bus overturned and fell into a dry river. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that after the accident, the rescue operation was started under the leadership of the locals.
Condoling the accident, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced immediate financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased. Rs 4 lakh for seriously injured and Rs 25,000 each for minor injuries. The Chief Minister has informed that the government will fully bear the medical expenses of those undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled the accident. The Prime Minister also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the families of those who died in the accident. The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Twitter that Rs 50,000 will be given each to the injured.
