Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rains are likely in Kerala for the next four days, the Met Office said. Following this, Yellow Alerts have been announced in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts.
A yellow alert was announced on June 15 in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod. Yellow alerts were issued in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod on June 16 and Kannur and Kasaragod on June 17.
Strong winds are also expected, the Meteorological Department said. The Meteorological Department has warned that those living in coastal areas should be vigilant.
