Thiruvananthapuram: The Meteorological Department has warned that heavy rains are likely in the next few hours in five districts of the state. The Yellow Alert has been announced in Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, and Thrissur districts.
Orange Alert announced in Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Districts. Strong winds are possible at speeds of up to 40 to 50 km / h in the Lakshadweep region and on the Kerala-Karnataka coastline.
