New Delhi: Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has announced that free Wi-Fi services will be provided to all villages across the country by March next year. He was inaugurating the Gurawara Digital Village in Haryana. Already 30 lakh Grama Panchayats have been connected through Bharat Net. The aim is to connect two hundred and fifty thousand villages. The government aims to convert at least 15 percent of the country’s villages into digital villages over the next four years, he said.
