Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that as per the decision of this year’s Monsoon and Thulavarsa Preparatory Meeting in Kerala, 10 teams of the National Disaster Response Force was asked to be deployed in Kerala. A total of 28 teams were asked to volunteer.
The Chief Minister said that the National Disaster Response Force had informed that the first four teams would arrive in Kerala. Currently, four teams are in addition to one team in Thrissur. The National Disaster Response Force has an average of 48 people per team. The Chief Minister said that the first batch will arrive in Wayanad, Idukki, Thrissur, and Alappuzha districts.
