Chandigarh: The curfew imposed in Punjab was extended to April 30.
The decision comes after the central government discussing the extension of lockdown in India.
According to reports, ten states sought the central government to extend the lockdown due to COVID-19 spreading.
In Punjab, 20 people diagnosed with COVID-19. With this 99 people in the state infected with the Novel Coronavirus.
Three of the COVID-19 affected are attended Taglib in Nizamuddin. So far eight people died in Punjab due to COVID-19.
