New Delhi: The Kartarpur corridor along the Indo-Pak border has been closed as a precautionary measure against coronavirus outbreaks. The Home Ministry has issued a notification that the route will not be allowed until further notice.
The Kartarpur corridor is the way to the Sikh shrine, Kartarpur Sahib. The corridor is located at Kartarpur Gurdwara in Narowal district of Pakistan, about four kilometers from Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur, Punjab.
236 Indians stranded in Iran were brought to Jaisalmer this morning. They have been admitted to the Jaisalmer Military Hospital. So far, 28 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Pakistan.
