So far, 2022 cases of the virus have been confirmed in South Korea due to a steady increase in the number of coronavirus cases. 256 new cases were reported on Friday alone.
South Korea has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus after China, the epicenter of the virus. Many are still receiving treatment in hospitals.
