Mumbai: Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away. The 53-year-old has been diagnosed with cancer for the past 2 years. In 2018, Irfan was infected with a neuroendocrine tumor. Subsequently, he went abroad for treatment.
Earlier, Irfan Khan was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for the treatment of ulcerative colitis.
Irfan’s mother Saeeda Begum passed away on March 25. Due to lock-down, Irrfan was unable to visit his mother in Jaipur or attend the funeral.
His first movie Salam Bombay was released in 1988. He was able to create his place in Bollywood.
