New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has warmly welcomed Jyotiraditya Scindia from Congress. Moreover, the BJP declared Scindia a Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, where the three seats are vacant, the BJP has announced its candidates for two seats.
Harsh Chauhan of the Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram was also named as the candidate. Elections are scheduled for March 26.
Reports say that Jyothirathitya Scindia, who came to the BJP after he failed to meet his demand to be considered as the first candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections. Besides, he considered as a first candidate and Rajya Sabha MP, the BJP planning to make him minister in the union cabinet.
