Meanwhile, opposition members have come out against the adjournment of the Assembly.
However, the majority members of the cabinet are of the opinion that there is no need for a complete lockdown at the moment.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had yesterday stated that a complete lockdown would have to be considered in the backdrop of increasing COVID cases in the state.
