Srinagar: One person was killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. An armed man was killed in a clash that started at around 8 am today in Ranbirgarh, a suburb of Srinagar. The Kashmir Zone Police Chief said the search was on for more people. More police and security forces have been deployed in the area. It is not known what organization the deceased belonged to.
