New Delhi: Fruits and vegetables are exporting from India to London and Frankfurt on two flights as part of the Agri-Udon project.
Air India has scheduled its operations on April 13 for London and April 15 for Frankfurt. The two aircraft will be made from fruit and vegetables sourced from Indian farmers, media reports citing government sources.
The plane will be repatriated with the necessary drugs, the report said.
The Krishi Udan project was initiated to help farmers to export agricultural products, which guarantees direct marketing opportunity and opens up new opportunities for farmers to import and export.
