Thiruvananthapuram: In the wake of the spread of coronaviruses, the state has started a new academic year through online classes. The authorities will ensure the number of students who cannot attend online classes starting today. The study is through the Victers Channel. There are at least two lakh students without a TV and a smartphone in the state. The Department of Education is preparing to provide learning facilities in the neighborhood of children who do not have learning facilities. This facility will be provided in Anganwadis and schools in collaboration with Kudumbasree.Meanwhile, private schools offer to learn facilities through Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Google Classroom. Some schools offer classes for children from 7 am to 9 pm. The online learning system will be developed with special emphasis on students from backward, coastal, and tribal areas. Also, the Education Department has set up a special system for children with disabilities.
