Damascus: At least 29 Turkish soldiers have been killed in airstrikes by Syrian troops. The government and rebels have clashed in Idlib province in northwestern Syria.
Turkish authorities confirmed the incident. But Syria has not responded.
Thirteen Turkish soldiers were killed in a Syrian army operation in Idlib earlier this month. In Idlib, Bashar al-Assad’s forces launch a ferocious offensive against Turkish-backed rebels with the help of an ally, Russia.
