Volkswagen unveils India’s sports utility vehicle, the T-Roc, which is the second sports utility vehicle in the Indian market.
The T-Roc has a premium sporty SUV look in the form of the Volkswagen line-up of smaller sports utility models.
On the front of the T-Rock are a chrome-lined grille, DRL-supplied dual-beam projection headlamp, a large air dam, a large bumper, and a fog lamp.
The floating dashboard, digital instrument cluster, and 8.0-inch touch screen infotainment system make the interior of the vehicle look beautiful.
Volkswagen is built on the MIA platform. The vehicle weighs 1420kg. The 445-liter boot space capacity can be increased to 1290 liters by folding the rear seat.
The T-Roc will be available only in petrol engines. Powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged TSI petrol engine, the vehicle produces 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque.
The transmission will be mated to a seven-speed dual-shift race. The vehicle is equipped with modern security systems.
The Ex-showroom has priced at Rs 19.99 lakh. T-Roc is expected to hit showrooms by mid-April.
