Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd has extended the validity of its vehicle warranty and free service till July 31, 2021. In the event of a Covid epidemic, the company said in a press release that it aims to prioritize the safety and well-being of its customers. Free Service, Warranty and Extended Warranty All Honda Two Wheeler customers will be able to avail the extended term benefit between April 1, 2021 and May 31, 2021.
The Honda India Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of all Honda Group companies in India, has announced support and relief measures for the Covid 19 defense. In five states – Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat – Covid 19, Rs 65 million has been earmarked for support and relief operations. It will also include a 100-bed hospital facility at Tapukara and Manesar in Rajasthan.
Honda also has oxygen production plants in Alwar (Rajasthan), Kolar (Karnataka) and Gautam Buddha Nagar (UP). In addition, the Honda India Foundation provides PPE kits, masks and sanitizers to Covid frontline workers, as well as medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and pulse-oximeters to government hospitals in rural areas.
