Multistrada 1260 Enduro, the premium model of Ducati’s Adventure Sports line vehicle to launch on July 9. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro differs from the existing 1200 CC Multistrada. The new model is expected to increase by Rs 1 to 1.5 lakh. The current model Multistrada 1200’s ex-showroom price is 18.3 lakh.
Multistrada features include 3-level Corner ABS, 8-level traction control and a variety of riding modes. Reportedly, the new model is powered by an additional 62 cc engine from the existing model. The 1262 CC Testarastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) Liquid Cooled Engine produces 157 PS of power (9500RPM) and 128 NM of torque (7500 RPM). This is an additional 5.5 PS from the current 1200 cc. The vehicle has a six-speed standard by directional quick-shifter.
The Multistrada is also provided with a 30-liter fuel tank capacity. Newgen Multistrada has advanced safety features such as Traction Control, Wheel Control, and Vehicle Hold Control. The vehicle has a Brembo braking system equipped with ABS 9.1 ME Corning Device. The 48 mm inverted front fork meets the front and the mono-shock rear suspension. Ducati offers 320 mm disc brakes with Pirelli Scorpion Tubeless Tyres.
