Kochi: Actress Kavya Madhavan will not appear for questioning today in the case of attacking the actress. Kavya wrote a letter to the Crime Branch informing her that she was inconvenienced to appear tomorrow.
Kavya wants to allow time for another day. The Crime Branch decided to question him tomorrow. Kavya said she would be questioned at her home in Aluva at 2 pm on Wednesday.
The probe team had asked Kavya Madhavan to inform her of a suitable place for questioning. Kavya was mentioned in a conversation between Dileep’s sister’s husband Sooraj and his friend Sarath in connection with the attack on the actress. In the 22 minute conversation between Suraj and Sarath, it is said that Kavya was given back the work given by her friends to trap her. This phone conversation was out. With this, the investigation team decided to question Kavya.
The notice is under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The rule is that women witnesses should not be called to the police station. So Kavya is free to decide where to question. Dileep’s audio recording has also come out that he should not be punished in the case of attacking the actress. The phone conversation between Dileep and his friend Baiju came out. The audio recording of Dileep telling his lawyer that he had seen the footage of the attack on the actress several times was also released. Suraj’s conversation to influence the doctor who is a witness in the case was also leaked. Suraj had asked Dr. Hyder Ali of the hospital at Anwar Memorial in Aluva to change the statement in the case
