New Delhi: Fuel prices have risen again in the country. The price of a liter of diesel has been hiked by 84 paise and petrol by 87 paise per liter. The new rate came into effect at midnight. After a long hiatus, petrol and diesel prices in the country are skyrocketing.
Companies now have the right to revise prices on a daily basis. Fuel prices are expected to rise in the coming days in five states across the country. Crude oil prices were close to $ 82 a barrel before the last change in fuel prices before the election. It is currently priced at around $ 120. So the price is likely to go up slowly. With this, prices will go up in all sectors.
