Thiruvananthapuram: A decision has been taken to avoid the focus area on the Plus One examination to be held this year. The notification along with the timetable of the Plus One exam was published yesterday.
The Department of Public education has stated that there will be no focus area after this. With this, the students should learn the lessons thoroughly.
The Plus One exam will be held from June 2 to 18. With this year’s SSLC and Plus Two exams, the decision has been made to discontinue the exam area fixed by the Focus Area.
The 2021 SSLC and Plus Two exams were held based on the focus area. This was because of the covid expansion. Later, the focus area was fixed for the Plus One exam as well.
The focus area is for this year’s SSLC and Plus Two exams. About 60% of the lessons are set in the focus area. The question paper structure is such that the question for 70% marks is guaranteed from this.
