Kochi: The eyes of the late Member of the Legislative Assembly and Congress Working President PT Thomas were donated.
Funerals are according to a last-minute note written a month ago. He had written in his last wish note that the body should be cremated at Kochi Ravipuram Cemetery. A portion of the ashes should be deposited in the mother’s grave at Idukki Upputhodu.
Wreaths should not be placed. Vayalar’s song ‘Chandrakalabham Charthi Urangum Theeram’ should be played during the funeral. Meanwhile, PT’s body will be brought to Idukki from Vellore tonight. Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi will pay his last respects at Ernakulam Town Hall tomorrow. The funeral will also be held at Ravipuram tomorrow.
