Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has forecast the formation of Hurricane Jawad in the Bay of Bengal today. It is expected to move in a north-westerly direction and reach the coasts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha by Saturday. However, the assessment is that the cyclone is not likely to affect Kerala.
