Brasilia: Famous Brazilian singer and Grammy Award winner Marilia Mendonca has died in a plane crash. She was 26 years old. Marilia’s uncle, producer, and two pilots were killed in the crash. The small plane carrying Marilia crashed in Minas Gerais. The cause of the accident is not known. The plane crashed on a rock near the waterfall. An investigation into the accident has been announced.
The accident happened in a rural area near the town of Karatinga. Marilia’s concert was scheduled for Friday here. Marilia was a young singer with a large fan base outside of Brazil.
