Washington: Passengers taking the Covid vaccine, covaxin, will be allowed to enter the U.S. from November 8. Covaxin, India’s first indigenous Covid vaccine after a long wait, was approved by the US shortly after it was approved by the World Health Organization.
Covaxin is 78 percent effective, according to the World Health Organization. Covaxin has been adopted by 12 crore people in India. The UK, the US, and the European Union did not admit those who took covaxin because they were not WHO approved.
The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that covaxine is suitable for poor and middle-class countries because of its low cost of preserving the vaccine. This is the seventh covid vaccine approved by the World Health Organization.
