Delhi: The Arogya Setu has played a vital role in preventing the spread of covid, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said. Modi said the technologies created by India during the Covid epidemic were globally recognized. India’s Digital India project has been completed for six years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was interacting with the beneficiaries of the scheme through a conference.
Modi said that Digital India has played an important role in the provision of healthcare facilities. He said that the new generation is the consumers of Digital India and the internet and smartphones have helped them a lot. He added that data and demographic dividends present a great opportunity for India.
He added that the youth of India will take digital empowerment to new heights. He was addressing a virtual meeting on the occasion of Digital India Day. The Digital India project has helped implement a one nation, one ration card scheme. He added that services were available to millions of people during the epidemic.
