Mumbai: At least 86 people have been confirmed dead in a Mumbai barge accident following Cyclone Toukte. A navy spokesman said all those in danger had been found. Steps have been taken to conduct DNA tests to identify Malayalee Vivek Surendran, who is still in danger.

The navy said the bodies were found on the coasts of Maharashtra and Gujarat. A total of 261 people aboard the P305 barge and 13 people aboard the Varaprada takiboat were injured. 188 people were rescued from the sea.
