Covid patients cross 1.5 lakh daily for the first time in the country; 839 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi: For the first time in the country, the number of Covid patients has crossed 1.5 lakh per day. Covid 19 was confirmed for 1,52,879 people within 24 hours. With this, the total number of patients crossed 1,33,58,805. Within 24 hours, 90,584 people were cured. 839 deaths were also reported. With this, a total of 1,20,81,443 people were cured. The total death toll was 1,69,275. 11,08,087 people are in treatment. The Prime Minister had called for a four-day ‘Vaccine’ festival from today to intensify the Covid vaccination.

The vaccine is reaching more people. The goal is to find those who deserve it. It was informed that arrangements should be made for this from the ward level. From today, the vaccine will be available to employees over the age of 45 in government and private institutions and the workplace. But several states have come forward to point out that there is a shortage of vaccines. The Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Punjab have written to the Prime Minister pointing out the vaccine shortage. So far 10,15,95,147 people have been vaccinated.
