Thiruvananthapuram: The crime branch has started an investigation into the incident in which a couple died of burns in Neyyattinkara during the eviction. The crime branch, which inspected the spot, also recorded the statements of Rajan’s children. The team led by Crime Branch SP Shanavas is investigating. The crime branch is probing the incident, including the fall of a police officer. The children are still living in a building shed on the disputed land.
The dispute also continues over the agreement made by Bobby Chemmanoor to buy the land where Rajan house is staying from the complainant Vasantha. Rajan’s children allege that Vasantha has a fake title deed. But Vasantha’s land is not part of the Lakshmanveet project, the lawyer told a press conference. The lawyer says that the agreement made with Bobby Chemmannur is by the law. Bobby Chemmannur is trying to hand over the land to the children through government mediation.
