New Delhi: Dr. Reddy’s Lab, which is testing the Covid vaccine, has closed its plants and offices around the world in the wake of the cyber attack. The incident comes after the Drug Controller of India approved the second and third phase trials of Russia’s Covid Vaccine.
The company said it had cut off data center services from the network following a cyber attack. This is part of taking preventive measures. CEO Mukesh Rathi said he expects all operations to resume within 24 hours.
It was around 2.30 am on Thursday, the cyber-attack took place at Reddy’s Lab’s plants in India, Russia, the UK, the US, and Brazil. Shares of the company also fell after the news broke.
