Thiruvananthapuram: The UPSC All India Civil Service (Primary) Examination will be held on October 4 at 78 centers in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Kozhikode districts. There are about 30,000 applicants from Kerala.
UPSC has issued detailed guidelines for conducting tests in the context of the corona. Students and staff conducting the examination can travel to the examination center without any hindrance with their Admit Card and Identity Card.
People from the cantonment zone can also travel in this way. Public transport services including KSRTC and Kochi Metro will be provided for this purpose. No IT equipment such as mobile phones, digital/smartwatches, and Bluetooth devices will be allowed in the examination hall. Police have been deployed at all examination centers to ensure this.
Admission to the examination hall will be given one hour before the examination. Travel to and from the examination hall will be allowed only if the proper social distance is maintained. Any examinee with fever, cough, sneezing, or other symptoms should notify the Invigilator immediately. They will be allowed a separate room to write the exam.
The entrance to the center will be closed ten minutes before the examination. Candidates who come after that will not be allowed admission. All candidates must wear a mask. The mask should only be changed when requested by the Invigilator for identification. 50 m Sanitizer in a small bottle can be carried by the candidates in the exam hall.
