New Delhi: BCCI is planning to hold the IPL which was postponed due to COVID. According to reports, BCCI is in the effort to start the tournament on September 26 and ending on November 8.
But on these dates, the BCCI faces some challenges. The IPL can be played only if the T20 World Cup is to be postponed from October to November in Australia. Meanwhile, there are reports that the Ausis have withdrawn from the tournament. Cricket Australia said the World Cup would be impossible due to the COVID scenario and the increase of COVID in the countries participating in the World Cup.
The BCCI is known to have spoken to franchisees, media partners, and other IPL-related operators regarding the IPL. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has reportedly asked all state associations to be prepared for the IPL.
