Kozhikode: A minority tornado formed in the southeast Bay of Bengal along the Andaman Sea. It is known as Thailand’s Umpun in the event of a tropical cyclone. The epicenter of the cyclone in the nearest river was about 850 km from Chennai. Assessing the situation in various parts of the Bay of Bengal, it is reported that minor pressure is likely to occur within the next four days. Isolated and medium rainfall is possible in Kerala.
At present, however, the Indian coastline is not a threat. Various models predict that the pneumococcal pressure of the north-west will move towards Bangladesh in parallel with the Andhra coast.
