Chennai: In Tamil Nadu, five more people infected with coronavirus Tamil Nadu Health Minister Dr. C Vijaybhaskar said on Twitter.
Four Indonesian nationals and one travel guide from Chennai have been diagnosed with the disease. With this, the number of COVID-19 cases in the state has reached 23.
The samples were examined at Salem Medical College and found COVID-19 positive. “They have been quarantined since March 22,” the Tamil Nadu Health Minister said on Twitter.
Meanwhile, a Madurai man suspected of spreading the disease in Tamil Nadu died. More than sixty people who have been in touch with him have been left for quarantine, reports said.
