Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex surged by over 0.1 percent in early trade today. Corona death toll rises to 900
affected in the Sensex. The stock exchange is progressing at 250 points lower. Nifty is below the 12,000 level.
The market capitalized on 844 BSE stocks, while 1255 stocks declined. The loss was mainly affected by the metal sector stocks. Tata Steel was down 4%, Hindalco and Vedanta were down 1%.
Among the gainers were UPL, Bharti Infratel, Cipla, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and Bajaj Auto. Stocks like Britannia, Coal India, Tata Motors, ONGC, NTPC, Sun Pharma, GAIL, Wipro and Reliance companies lose in the trade stock exchange.
