Srinagar: Protest erupts again in Jammu and Kashmir. Reuters reported that the central government has again imposed restrictions, citing senior officials and eyewitnesses. In Srinagar alone, two dozen protesters threw stones at security forces.
Reports say that the restrictions were imposed on Sunday in various parts of Srinagar. There were many protests against the center during the day and night. The protests have intensified on Saturday as the government began to ease some of the restrictions on the sector.
Since this morning, the security forces have sent people back to various places. More than two dozen people have been hospitalized for injuries sustained in a pellet shooting by security forces in protest against the protests in Srinagar on Saturday night.
