Thiruvananthapuram: The death toll from the torrential rain in Kerala has risen to 101. Despite the search for missing people using mapping systems, rain continues to slow down operations.
The data further indicates that there is a risk of further outbreaks in Kavalappara. Five bodies were recovered during today’s search.
Meanwhile, the Chhattisgarh region, which is currently in the Bay of Bengal, has reached the Chhattisgarh region. Over the next 24 hours, this pressure will increase. Hence, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the northern districts.
Heavy rainfall is possible in the districts from Alappuzha to the North. Heavy rains will be experienced in the districts from Malappuram to the north tomorrow. The meteorological department said there will be isolated strong rains in the northern districts of the country. Minor pressure is expected to continue for two more days. Experts say rain may continue in the coming years.
