Lucknow: A 12-year-old dalit girl was allegedly abducted and raped and killed in Unnavo, Uttar Pradesh. The brutal murder took place at the border of Safipur Kotwali police station. The child was reported missing early Friday morning.
The girl, who went missing from yesterday. The father who woke up early in the morning did not see the child. The whole family held a search and found the child’s body. The girl’s body lay on a farm about 100 kilometers from her home. The girl’s head was crushed to pieces.
Police said the child sustained fatal injuries to his head, neck and private parts. The Lucknow Range IG SK Bhagat has been assigned to investigate the case. The dog squad checked the spot where the girl’s body was found. The IG said the accused had received clear evidence and would be arrested soon. Police said they would respond after receiving an autopsy report on the alleged rape.
