New Delhi: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been elected as chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP).
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Congress parliamentary party committee on Saturday. Sonia Gandhi thanked the voters. Rahul Gandhi said that the 52 MPs of the Congress are enough to stand against the BJP.
Parliamentary Party meeting is crucial in the current situation. The Parliamentary Party also asked Rahul Gandhi to withdraw the decision to leave the presidency. Congress is actively involved in promoting the leadership of the opposition.
