New Delhi: A woman lodged a complaint on sexual allegations against Supreme Court Chief Justice of India. The complaint was filed by a former Supreme Court employee. The complainant said that he was trying to humiliate at the Chief Justice’s residence. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi denied the allegation.
A 35-year-old employee had lodged a complaint with the 22 judges yesterday. The complaint said that the incident occurred in Ranjan Gogoi’s house on October 10 and 11, 2018. Based on the complaint, an emergency sitting was set up by the court today.
Chief Justice, who denies the allegation, said it is an attempt to blackmail him. He said he will not resign on this issue.
