Thiruvananthapuram: An email message warns of drone attacks at airports in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The threat message is for Bengaluru, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram. The message arrived at Bengaluru airport around noon.
Security has been tightened at airports in the state. Strong surveillance has been put in place at Thiruvananthapuram airport and surrounding areas. Before this, there was an incident where messages were received that a bomb had been planted. Later, they were found to be fake. But this is the first time that a drone attack threat has been made.
