Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor has changed. Arif Muhammad Khan will shift to the post of Governor of Bihar. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar becomes the Governor of Kerala. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar is a leader from Goa. He has also served as the former Governor of Himachal. He was a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Goa and former Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly.
Governors of Kerala and Bihar along with Governors of Manipur, Odisha and Mizoram also changed. Former Central Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla has been appointed as Governor of Manipur.
Odisha Governor Raghubar Das’s resignation has been accepted by the Rashtrapati. Mizoram Governor Dr. Haribabu Kamphampathy as the new Governor. The appointment will come into effect from the date as the new governors take charge of their respective offices, said Rashtrapati Bhavan.
