Kerala: Actor Bala has remarried in a private ceremony in Kerala. His bride, Kokila, is a Chennai native and a relative of the actor. The wedding was attended by close family and friends.
The couple exchanged vows at the Pavakkulam Temple in Ernakulam on Wednesday morning. This comes shortly after Bala hinted at a new marriage on social media.
“After my liver transplant, I felt the need for a companion. I am confident in my choice as she is my relative. I am recovering well, taking my medication and food properly. My health has improved significantly. I hope you will bless me with your good wishes,” Bala told reporters after the wedding.
Bala’s first marriage was dissolved in 2019 amid legal proceedings. His second marriage to Elizabeth was not legally registered. Therefore, there were no legal obstacles to his recent wedding.
