A fake Facebook account created using singer KS Chitra’s name and picture has sent messages to many people asking for money. Many of those who received the message asked, ‘Is Chitra Chechi the same?’ To which yes replies were sent and further chats were conducted. The information about the fraud was officially informed by the sources close to the film.
The message sent from the fake account says that she is a playback singer and the ambassador of Reliance Industries Limited Investment Company. In the name of Chitra, fake messages have been sent in such a way that if you invest 10000 rupees in Reliance, you will get back 50000 rupees after a week and if you are interested, you just need to ask him how to start investing.
Also, messages have been sent through Telegram that Chitra has reserved gifts including iPhones for fans. KS Chitra requested that all this is fake and no one should fall prey to this scam.
