Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC has issued an order not to overtake super class buses including Minnal service. In order to reach specific destinations safely and on time, the public chooses high-class buses for traveling by paying higher ticket prices. But on some occasions, there are complaints that the buses belonging to the lower category do not give side to the buses belonging to the higher category including Minimal and compete and overtake.
The Corporation suggests that higher tier buses with shorter running time should be given their own consideration by paying higher ticket prices and lower tier buses should not overtake upper tier buses under any circumstances to avoid unnecessary competition and inconvenience to passengers.
Whatever type of higher tier services are required, lower tier services should be accommodated and such services should be provided with safe passage. It has been suggested that all driver and conductor employees should pay special attention to this matter and ensure that they drive carefully and safely to avoid any complaints.
