More train services have been canceled as heavy rains continue in the Southern Railway region. Trains including Ernakulam-Tata Nagar Express from Kerala have been cancelled.
The services of Ernakulam-Hathia Dharti Aba Express scheduled to depart today, Ernakulam-Tata Nagar Express scheduled for 5, Kochuveli-Shalimar Express scheduled for 6, Kanyakumari-Howrah Super Fast Express scheduled for 7 and Tirunelveli-Purulia Express scheduled for 7 have also been cancelled.
Rainfall is severe in Andhra and Telangana. 17 people died in Andhra and 10 in Telangana. Reports suggest that the death toll may rise further.
