Six more people have been confirmed to have cholera in the state. Six people who were under treatment at Neyyatinkara, Thiruvananthapuram have been diagnosed with the disease.
Three people who have been diagnosed with the disease are undergoing treatment in Iranimuttam isolation ward and two people are undergoing treatment in the medical college. With this, the number of confirmed cases in Thiruvananthapuram has increased to 9. Earlier, Kasaragod also confirmed one person. The health department has issued a warning in the context of the continuing spread of the disease.
